2016 | First trip to Africa
In 2016, Agnis, the founder of Macadamia Nut Farm, went on his first trip to Africa. Initially, the journey was for a business purposes in a completely different field.
However, during his time there, Agnis immersed himself in the local culture, witnessed how the people lived and made many lasting friendships along the way. This experience would later inspire a new direction for his business.
2018 | Revitalization of macadamia plantations and factory
In 2018, Agnis was presented with a unique opportunity to help renew old macadamia nut plantations and a factory. The proposal came from a trusted friend, someone Agnis knew personally for their integrity and responsibility.
Without hesitation, he embraced the challenge, marking the beginning of a partnership that would lead him into the world of macadamias. This pivotal moment set the foundation for what would eventually become Macadamia Nut Farm.
2019 | Completion of renovations and return to Lithuania
From that point on, all renovations begun and by 2019, the newly reconstructed factory was fully operational and ready for production. That same year, Agnis returned to Lithuania with the ambition of opening the largest macadamia warehouse in Northern Europe someday.
Wasting no time, he launched the very first small Macadamia Nut Farm factory-laboratory, where work on various products and recipes began immediately.
In that pivotal year, Macadamia Nut Farm received its first major order and tremendous effort was put into delivering the highest-quality product possible at the time.
2020 | The birth of a Macadamia-based drink formula
After noticing the range of plant-based "milks" in stores, Agnis was inspired to create his own macadamia-based formula with a clean, simple composition. Thus began a journey through labs and a search for specialists who could help bring this vision to life.
After extensive research and countless trials, formula was finally developed and launched, bringing the BARISTA and NATURAL macadamia drinks to life.
2022 | Construction of new production facilities in Lithuania
In 2022, over 1 million euros were invested to create the most advanced macadamia nut processing facility in Europe.
This allows the company to oversee the entire production chain - from raw material collection to the final product - ensuring the highest quality, freshness and protection of the nuts from environmental factors.
2023 | Macadamia Nut Farm’s first exhibition
Our debut exhibition in Poznań, Poland! It was an incredible opportunity to connect with new potential partners and engage with the community.
2024 | Expansion and New Partnerships
In 2024, our company is entering an exciting phase of growth, marked by new partnerships and advancements to a true laboratory level. This transformation enables us to guarantee the highest quality for our products. With our enhanced capabilities, we can conduct various research projects to discover new flavors, combinations and textures.
To further enhance our quality and streamline logistics, we have chosen to join forces with our international partners. We are currently finalizing new agreements with colleagues in Italy, Poland, Sweden, and Romania, setting the stage for greater collaboration and innovation.
2024 | New Macadamia Nut Farm Products
In 2024, Macadamia Nut Farm launched an exciting array of new products, including a macadamia nut cream infused with spirulina and chlorella, as well as silky macadamia cream with freeze-dried raspberries and MACADELLA cream with cacao and honey.
We also introduced roasted nuts, caramelized nuts and spicy macadamia nuts with Habanero for those seeking bold flavors. However, the standout addition this year is our macadamia nuts coated in a thin layer of Belgian chocolate - a sweet treat that will satisfy any sweet tooth.
